Dark social gift ideas for 80% of Christmas shoppers
It seems like dark social is still a pretty dark topic. A research from RadiumOne found that 8 out of 10 consumers share during Christmas, via dark social channels (like instant messaging apps and email) gift ideas.
Dark social is a crucial signal of purchasing intent. RadiumOne suggests that out of the 50% of people who shared technology gift ideas and 33% who shared fashion gifts via dark social, one half and one third of people respectively went on to actually make purchases in these categories.
